Free agents were able to officially sign contracts Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. and now, Asomugha has signed with Philadelphia.
The Eagles finished a surprising 11-5 last year and are looking to improve upon their record.
It is expected that Philadelphia will now have three star cornerbacks in Asomugha, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Asante Samuel
Terms of the deal are that it is for 5 years and $60 million with $25 million guaranteed.
The Eagles recently traded for Rodgers-Cromartie in the Kevin Kolb trade.
Nnamdi Asomugha is considered the best cornerback in the NFL by some and will now take his talents to the NFC East.
The addition of Asomugha will certainly upgrade the Eagles defensive back corps.
